Best Coaching Option
Combination Approach: Online Course & Individual Coaching
If you prefer the interaction and personalized attention of working with Coach, you may want to consider doing a combination of the Talents in Action online course and some Individual Coaching sessions.
- Do the TIA online course to get an in-depth, comprehensive understanding of your CliftonStrengths results and how to effectively use them.
- Use your Individual Coaching sessions to focus on personal topics you want to explore - not learning fundamental Strengths-based concepts.
The best of both worlds
Combining the TIA online course and Individual Coaching is the most cost-effective and practical approach to mastering Strength-based concepts. You can do independent study to learn and practice concepts and use your Coaching time to address personal topics.
You choose whether you schedule your individual sessions in parallel to doing the course content, or after you've completed the online coursework.
I offer Coaching sessions for Individuals who are committed to a Strengths-based approach, and want the interaction and personal accountability from working with a Coach.
Each person's goals and needs are different, so I don't offer pre-packaged Coaching programs. The number of sessions and frequency we meet is determined based on your goals, needs, and style. There's no predefined curriculum or agenda per session. Goals for the overall program are set at the beginning. Each session allows the opportunity for open discussion while still focusing you towards your overall goals.
Before accepting anyone as a client, I meet with them so that we can get to know each other, and I can better understand what's on their mind. I also want to ensure that we're a good mutual match to work together. Effective coaching (like all things) should also be the right fit.
Once we determine that we're a good mutual fit and you're ready to move forward, we can define goals, objectives, and a schedule.
Notes on Individual Coaching:
- Individual sessions do not require a lengthy Coaching program. For example, it is possible to schedule individual sessions to supplement your CliftonStrengths Training - whether in a live training program or the TIA online course.
- To get the most out of your Coaching sessions, you may want to consider doing the TIA online course first. That way, you already understand your CliftonStrengths results and Strengths-based fundamentals, and you can use your individual time to focus on you (rather than learning the concepts).
Live Workshop Series
In the past, I've offered live, online Workshop Series for Individuals. Each time, I've done them as a 6-week Series with each weekly session being a 2-hour block. This is a fun way to learn alongside others, and gives a live learning option for those who aren't part of a group/organization doing CliftonStrengths-based Training.
In these, I have a preset CliftonStrengths-based/Strengths-based curriculum that spans multiple sessions. Participants connect on designated days and times and we conduct each session as a Live, Online Workshop. Each session has lessons, interactive exercises, open discussion, Q&A, and homework for the week.
Note: I do not have any Live Workshop Series options scheduled at this time. However, if you (and/or a group) would like to request one, please contact me.
